Hi! I’m Bob Roth (AKA Robert Roth, PhD) and I provide strategic planning, marketing and copywriting services to organizations that make life better for vulnerable people.

My work is informed and empowered by more than 40 years of strategic planning, business development, marketing and copywriting experience..

Over the years, my work generated several hundred million dollars in equity value for for-profit businesses. And my nonprofit work touched more than 100 million people and raised more than $40 million in sponsorships and donations.

In the for-profit sector, I was honored to serve as:

• Co-Founder, President, COO and CMO for the Grand Canyon Railway
• V.P. Marketing for Del E. Webb Recreational Properties
• V.P. Marketing for Radisson Hotels
• National Advertising Director for The Holiday Inns System

In the nonprofit sector, I enjoyed the privilege of serving the Arizona Office of Tourism, American Humane Association, Arizona Small Business Association, Butte Opera House and City of Cripple Creek, CO, the Coleville Tribes, Desert Stages Theatre, Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Propel Philanthropy, Sedona Chamber of Commerce, the Navajo Nation, and Utah Navajo Industries.

I Failed at Retirement

Following my reasonably productive “official” career, I tried to retire . . . but immediately suffered an almost terminal case of BOREDOM.  In response, I have jumped back into doing the work that I truly love . . . doing freelance strategic planning, marketing and copywriting for organizations that make life better for vulnerable people.
